5 Reasons Why Exercise is Important

Image
5 REASONS TO EXERCISE Major Reason to Exercise Here are 5 good reasons why you should make exercise a regular part of your routine. 1. Weight Control: help you lose weight One of the most common benefits of exercise is that it helps you control and manage your weight. Exercise burns calories, which results in shedding pounds. Although rigorous exercise will burn more calories, even simple exercises such as a brisk walk can positively impact weight loss. 2. Physical Fitness Exercise doesn’t just keep you trim—it helps you stay healthy. Regular exercise increases your overall level of fitness, which in turn boosts your immune system and makes you more resilient to illnesses like the common cold. Combined with your regular vaccinations, physical exercise might just be your ticket to getting through flu season in one piece. 3. Energy One of the reasons to exercise regularly is that it gives you energy. Rather than going for that second cup of coffee, a workout can...

TRIP TO MURREE

Image
MURREE Murree is a great visiting hill station that is located in Pakistan at the outs. From a distance, it looks more of a fantasy city. The place is visited by different people from different nations since it shields one from the sweltering heat. Though I am adventurous, I had never visited any hill station before. However, a few months ago, I planned to visit Murree. I had always heard stories about its beauty. I had always wished for that moment to be in Murree and experience this peaceful environment, and yes, my desire came true.  Well, on that day, we reached Murree with my friend at around 3.00 p.m. to me it was the best day of my life. The journey to Murree was quite different from the one am used to in the plains. Life around Murree is expensive. The cost of the hotels is too high for the ordinary man, but luckily we got a very dark bungalow at a reasonable price. Being too tired, we chose to rest and begin our adventures on the next day.  The following morning every...

DRAMA REVIEW: DESCENDANTS OF THE SUN

Image
K-drama review: Descendants of the Sun I know, it’s barely two weeks since my last K-drama review and this show is 16 hours long. No wonder I haven’t read much. My excuses are twofold: I was a bit brain foggy and I found this series addictive. From the first episode of  Descendants of the Sun (KBS 2016), I knew I was in trouble.   After the low stakes of  Coffe Prince , this drama was much more serious, but still sweet. It opens with an impressive set piece in the  DMZ  between North and South Korea. After soldiers from both sides of the border fight with knives in a stand-off that the public can never be told about, the triumphant leader of the South Korean commandos removes the scarf covering his face to reveal our hero: Captain Yoo Si-jin (Song Joong-ki).  Our heroine has a slightly less violent introduction but is still instantly impressive. Dr Kang Mo-yeong (Song Hye-kyo) is a surgeon at a big hospital in Seoul. She’s great at her job but keeps ...

KDRAMA REVIEW: W TWO WORLDS (2016)

Image
W  TWO WORLDS KOREAN DRAMA Do you remember in our childhood, we always wondered how we can get into another world or maybe in the world of cartoons or comics? you get it right, we always wanted that to happen. Well w two worlds Korean drama is that Korean drama that will make your wish come true. As the name suggests two worlds, in this drama we have two different worlds. One is real and the other is from Webtoon. It is a fantasy romantic Korean drama, in which Lee Jung Suk  played the male lead role and Han Hyo Joo played the lead actress. Lee Jung Suk really justified the character of Kang Chul who is a comic character and Han Hyo Joo did a fantastic job too who is in the real world as a surgeon.  Lee Jung Suk aka Kang Chul from another world of the webtoon, this webtoon is called as ‘W’ in real world   This webtoon is created by Han Hyo Joo a.k.a Oh Yeon Joo’s father Oh Sung Moo (real name Kim Eui Sung). This webtoon is a sensation in...

A Review of Netflix's Squid Games

Image
Series review: Squid Game Squid Game is a survival/horror/drama series from Hwang Dong-Hyuk. It follows the lives of hundreds of people all in various forms of debt, from which they can’t escape using normal means, playing murderous versions of childhood games to win the cash prize of several millions. Why do they need the money? Some to escape loan sharks, some to save their family, but with hundreds of contestants come hundreds of reasons.  Their captors? Well, that’s technically themselves as everyone is there voluntarily. From Gi-hun (the main character of sorts in the ensemble cast) who has gambled away vast sums, Cho Sang-woo as an embezzler, and many others with darker stories and secrets revealed throughout their tales of survival.  However, it’s the intimidating, faceless masked guards and the eponymous ‘Front Man’ that will stick in your mind. With disguised voices and no way of identifying them they seem to serve as an allegory throughout the story as they funnel th...

REVIEW: ALL OF US ARE DEAD

Image
ALL OF US ARE DEAD Korean zombie series  All of Us Are Dead  is yet another example of brilliant television from South Korea. The 12 episodes follow a group of high school students in Hyosan as they fight to survive in a city overwhelmed by zombies. All of Us Are Dead  doesn’t attempt to reinvent the wheel. A mysterious science teacher in the school experiments on a rat that bites one of the students and from there, the virus spreads first throughout the school and then throughout the city. The students in the series aren’t oblivious to what is happening. They are aware of zombies and even mention the brilliant Train to Busan. The series works best when it focuses on the relationships between the large cast of characters, something which has been seen from Dawn of the Dead to The Walking Dead. The fast-moving zombies wreak havoc in the school and the grief and despair thrust upon the students draws some together and others apart. The relationship between Cheong-san...
